Rob Willis founder of Icarus Aerial imaging is an experienced Drone Pilot and Professional Photographer, with passion for capturing unique images with his signature style.

Rob has had the privilege of running his own business in the construction industry, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience which spans 35 years. Rob is able to apply his experience visually first hand on building and roof surveys for both professional and domestic clients. 

Rob's venture into photography began in 2018, he quickly developed a passion to capture the image and a commitment to learn and develop his skills. Rob soon became consumed with the fundamentals that make a great photograph and the ability to capture and create a moment in time.

Rob also has keen interest in flying and is currently undergoing PPL training.

Following a motocross accident resulting in a back injury Rob made the decision to walk away from construction and embark on a new venture. Icarus Aerial Imaging combines Rob's adoration of construction, love of flying and passion for photography.

Since our founding, we’ve worked with numerous clients throughout the area including Calne Town Council, Beversbrook Sports Facility, Friends of  Marden Valley, North Wilts Golf Club and St. Marys Church.
